What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have already been shown a notice — so that the site behaves sensibly on your return.
Cookies do not identify you personally unless you have provided personal information to the site. They are widely used, and most websites you visit will use them in some form.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services embedded in our website. These include analytics tools provided by Google. Third parties operate under their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them where relevant.
We do not share personally identifiable information with third-party advertisers. Where third-party tools process data, they do so under data processing agreements consistent with applicable Malaysian law.
Cookie duration
Cookies may be either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
Most cookies set by this website expire within 12 months. Essential session cookies expire when your browsing session ends.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Each browser handles this slightly differently. Select your browser below for guidance.
Google Chrome
Open the Chrome menu (three dots, top right) and choose Settings. Scroll to Privacy and Security, then Cookies and other site data. From there you can block third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or set exceptions for specific sites.
Mozilla Firefox
Open the Firefox menu and choose Settings. Select Privacy & Security. Under Cookies and Site Data you can view, block, or remove cookies. You can also set Firefox to delete cookies each time you close the browser.
Apple Safari
On a Mac, open Safari Preferences and select Privacy. You can block all cookies or block only third-party cookies. On an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, scroll to Safari, and choose Block All Cookies.
Microsoft Edge
Open the Edge menu (three dots, top right) and go to Settings. Choose Cookies and site permissions, then Cookies and site data. You can manage or delete cookies and choose whether to block third-party cookies.
Mobile browsers
Most mobile browsers include a Privacy section in their settings where you can manage cookies. On Android, look in the browser's Site Settings or Privacy menu. On iOS, check the browser app's settings within the iOS Settings app.
Note: disabling all cookies may affect the way this website behaves. Essential functions may not operate as expected without session cookies.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you have the right to access information held about you and to withdraw any consent you have previously given. If you have questions about how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
For queries specifically about cookies, please write to us at [email protected].
