Three engagements. Each one contained, priced, and specific.
Every engagement at Mythara Advisory is a defined piece of work with a fixed deliverable and a fixed price. You choose the one that fits what you need at this point.
Back to HomeHow every engagement is conducted.
Regardless of which engagement a firm selects, the work follows the same underlying approach: we listen first and write second. We do not arrive with a framework already in mind. The positioning we arrive at — or the writing review we produce — is shaped by what we hear from the firm and what we observe in its materials.
For our session-based engagements, we schedule fortnightly rather than back-to-back. The interval is intentional. It allows the firm's leadership to sit with what was discussed, notice what still feels right and what has shifted, and bring that updated thinking into the next session.
We keep our active engagements to a small number at any one time. This is a deliberate constraint, not a limitation. It allows us to give each firm the quality of attention that positioning work actually requires.

Positioning Practice
Duration: Six weeks · RM 3,050
A patient engagement for firms uncertain about how they wish to be understood by their clients. The work is done in three fortnightly studio sessions, in which the leadership team and a senior advisor sit together and slowly arrive at a written positioning note.
The note covers who the firm serves, what it does well, and what it would politely decline. It is short — roughly two pages — but the conversation that produces it is generally far longer. That conversation is where the value lies.
What you receive
- Written positioning note (approximately two pages)
- One-page reference card for the team's ongoing use
- Follow-up review at six months, included in the fee
- Three sessions with a named senior advisor
Session structure
- 01.Initial reading of existing materials and intake note
- 02.First session — listening, questions, early observations
- 03.Fortnight interval for reflection
- 04.Second session — draft note reviewed together
- 05.Third session — final refinements and delivery of documents
Best for: Firms that are uncertain about how they are currently understood by clients, or that want to be more deliberate about who they serve.

Workshop Review
Duration: Six weeks · RM 2,200
An outside look at the way your firm presents itself in writing — proposals, case notes, cover letters, and standard correspondence. We read carefully, mark what reads well, and quietly note what reads less well.
We then sit with the responsible team for a half-day workshop and leave behind a small house style note: voice, sentence length conventions, and a short list of words to handle with care. Suited to professional services firms with steady client correspondence.
What you receive
- Annotated review of a representative set of correspondence
- Half-day workshop session with the writing team
- House style note for ongoing internal reference
- Short word list of phrases to handle with care
Process
- 01.Firm submits a selection of recent correspondence and proposals
- 02.We read and annotate, preparing observations and discussion points
- 03.Half-day workshop — working through observations with the team
- 04.Delivery of house style note within one week of workshop
Best for: Firms that know their writing could be cleaner or more consistent, but have not had an outside perspective on how to improve it.
Enquire about Workshop ReviewA Single Sketch
Duration: Two weeks · RM 880
A short written response to a positioning question — perhaps the wording of a tagline, a section of an About page, or the framing of a difficult capability. The response runs roughly twelve hundred words and includes three alternative drafts for the passage in question.
Two weeks turnaround, with a single follow-up call. Useful for partners considering a small change before committing to longer work, or for firms that have a specific, well-defined writing question they would like outside thinking on.
What you receive
- Approximately 1,200-word written response to your question
- Three meaningfully different alternative drafts
- One follow-up call to discuss the options
- Two weeks from intake to delivery
Process
- 01.Submit your positioning question and any relevant context materials
- 02.We read, consider, and prepare three distinct written approaches
- 03.Delivery of the written response within two weeks
- 04.Follow-up call to discuss the three drafts and any questions
Best for: Firms that have one specific writing or positioning question and want considered outside input without a full engagement.

What applies to every engagement.
Full confidentiality
All client materials and conversations are treated as strictly confidential. We do not share client information and we do not use engagement details in external references without explicit consent.
Fixed, written terms
A brief written engagement note is issued before any work begins, confirming scope, deliverables, timeline, and price. There are no undisclosed charges and no scope changes without prior discussion.
Senior advisor in every session
A named senior advisor leads every session and every written deliverable. We do not delegate client-facing work to junior members. The person you discuss the work with is the person who writes it.
Internal quality review
Every written deliverable is reviewed by a second advisor before being sent to the client. We check for clarity, internal consistency, and accuracy against what was heard in the sessions.
Data protection
Client materials are stored securely and not retained beyond the agreed period. We comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 in all handling of personal and business information.
Honest counsel
We will say when we believe a positioning direction is unclear or counterproductive. That perspective is part of what the engagement covers. We do not produce writing we believe will not serve the firm.
